Disney World is introducing new changes to its Genie Plus skip-the-line service, allowing guests to reserve attractions up to seven days in advance if they are staying at a Disney hotel. This new service includes Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Previously, guests had to purchase Genie Plus on the same day they visited the park. With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, guests can now make up to three selections at a theme park prior to their visit. For popular attractions, guests can also reserve Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions in advance.
The booking flow for Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass has been illustrated. The price of the service varies by day and park, and it can be purchased for multiple parks. Guests at Disney resorts have priority in selecting their passes, with up to 14 days in advance.
While Individual Lightning Lane has been renamed to Lightning Lane Single Pass, its functionality remains the same. This service allows guests to secure a time to ride popular attractions at Disney World, such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Rise of the Resistance.
Guests staying at Disney resorts will have the opportunity to purchase Lightning Lane passes up to seven days in advance, while other guests can do so three days in advance. The purchases can now be made in one transaction, making it easier and faster for guests. The app will also be updated to facilitate these new changes.
